Savannah & Charleston
March 22-28, 2024
Day 1 – Friday, March 22 – Fly from Omaha to Savannah (D)
Fly from Omaha Savannah via American Airlines. Depart at 6:45 am, change in Charlotte, NC with arrival into Savannah at 12:14 pm.
–Break for lunch on own
–Visit UGA Aquarium and Georgia Shellfish Research Lab & Marine Extension
–Check in at Staybridge Suites
—Group Welcome Dinner at TBA
Day 2 – Saturday, March 23– Savannah Touring (B, L, D)
—Travel to Tybee Island for Dolphin Cruise
–Lunch at Crab Shack on Tybee Island
–Stop at Tybee Lighthouse
–Visit Marine Science Center on Tybee Island.
–Evening at Murder Mystery Dinner Show (This is tentative. Waiting for 2024 schedule)
Day 3 – Sunday, March 24– Savannah Touring (B, D)
–Savannah Trolley Tour—pass will be for all day so they can choose where to spend their time. It’s a hop on, hop off pass)
— Savannah River Cruise with dinner & live entertainment
Day 4 – Monday, March 25– To Charleston (B, L, D)
–Morning at Lowcountry Oysters. Includes going out on boat, seeing “nursery”, plus the factory. See the process from farm to table.
–Box lunch included
–Visit Firefly Distillery for tour & tasting
–Check in at Hampton Inn Charleston Historic District
—Dinner included at Coast Bar & Grill
Day 5 – Tuesday, March 26– Charleston Touring (B, L)
–Visit Boone Plantation including “Farm to Table” meal at noon.
–Afternoon to Fort Sumter.
–Dinner on own
Day 6 – Wednesday, March 27– Charleston Touring (B, L, D)
–Charleston Tea Plantation Tour including box lunch.
–Afternoon tour and tasting at Charleston Distilling Company.
–Free time in Historic Downtown.
–5 pm Charleston Carriage Ride
–Farewell dinner at Hyman’s Seafood.
Day 7 – Thursday, March 28– Travel home (B)
Depart Charleston at 11:54 am, change in Dallas/Ft Worth, return to Omaha at 6:38 pm.
Tour includes:
*Air from Omaha to Savannah and Charleston to Omaha.
*Motorcoach transportation throughout travel in Savannah & Charleston
*Six nights hotel accommodations including taxes
(Please note, Staybridge Suites offers baggage handling but Hampton Inn does not.)
*Meals: 6 breakfasts (B), 4 lunches (L), 5 dinners (D)
*Sightseeing as outlined in itinerary
*Assistance with final documents which includes final itinerary, bag tags, hotel information, etc.
*Services of Allied Tour Director.
Approximate price based on a minimum of 30 or more paying passengers:
$3,709.00 per person, double occupancy
$3,489.00 per person, triple/quad occupancy
$4,469.00 single occupancy
Tour does not include:
Airline baggage fees, any items of a personal nature, meals not listed in itinerary, tours/attractions during any free time, optional trip insurance, or possible fuel surcharges or changes in taxes (as determined by government entities), or tip to motorcoach driver and tour director
Payment/Confirmation Schedule:
* Deposit of $600 / per person with Registration
* Final payment is due February 5, 2024
Travel Protection:
Optional trip cancellation/interruption insurance is available at additional cost.
